From the Breeden Memorial Library


 


All patrons may use the same library card at both BML and CCPL.  All books may be borrowed for 2 weeks at a time.  DVD's and Videos are available at both Branches of the library and may be borrowed for one week at a time.  There is a limit of five (5) videos and 2 DVD's per family.  Any plastic cases lost will incur a two dollar $2.00 replacement cost charge.  The library has a number of LARGE PRINT BOOKS as well as books on cassette.


Library Cards are FREE and may be used at the main library in English and at the Breeden Branch in Leavenworth.   
To obtain a Library Card, bring proof that you live in Crawford County.
If you don't reside in Crawford County and would like a Library Card the follow fees apply.
Non-Resident Fee for a Family Card is $25.00.
PLAC cards are also available for $30.00. This can be used anywhere in Indiana.
PLAC cards are good for one year from date of purchase.
You must be an Indiana Resident to apply for a library card.

Adopted by the Library Board July 29th, 2008.
 

Library Board meetings are held on the last Tuesday of the month at 6:00 local time in the board room of the library in English.  
An agenda is posted in the library the Friday before the meeting.

The family of Russell Breeden has generously donated operating funds as well as books and DVD's to support the Breeden Memorial Library.  With the generosity and dedication to the library, the Breeden family has made it possible for the residents of Leavenworth and the southeastern portion of Crawford County to have a wonderful library in the town proper.
