Services
The library has all its books indexed on the computer. If you have a subject you are looking for, you can print out a list of books they have on the subject. Both libraries offer public access computers for use during normal business hours. Computer users must sign in and are limited to one hour of computer time per person unless there is no one else waiting to use the computers. The computers have settings that allow for different types of users. The children's mode has a variety of games and other kid-friendly learning programs as well as denying access to the Internet for these "delicate minds." All computers have a security setting so that surfing the Internet is limited to "safe sites." Even though this precaution has been taken, please be aware that there may be times when an unwanted site may be accessed. If this happens, the quickest way to get rid of this undesirable site is to turn off the monitor. Please let someone on the library staff know what has happened so we can block this site from future viewing. Please view the Library's Internet Policy. CCPL complies with Internet filtering as required by CIPA and Universal Services funding. The library also has color printers, a scanner, fax machine, and a copy machine. There is a minimal charge for using these devices to help defray the costs of paper and ink or long distance phone charges as applicable.
